When we eat, enzymes in our gut break down starches and sugars we eat into glucose, which is then absorbed into our bloodstream. This is our main source of energy but unused this glucose turns to fat.
STORMe tricks the enzymes into thinking they are dealing with carbohydrates, meaning the real carbohydrates pass harmlessly through the gut. How STORMe Works
When we eat Carbohydrates, enzymes in our gut break them down, turn them into glucose and send them to our cells for energy. If we don't burn all that glucose (generally through exercise), the cells store that glucose in the form of fat (as we know it).
STORMe prevents around 40% of that glucose entering your blood stream thus reducing the amount of glucose created and sent to the cells.
With less glucose, the body shifts from burning glucose as its energy source to burning fat (KETO diet essentially).
